Be careful with this charger. It has a self-timer that shuts off a channel after 12 hours as a "safety" measure, but this is insufficient time to charge batteries larger than about 1800mAH at its per-channel charging current.

One might think this could be overcome by simply re-inserting the battery, but in doing so I discovered that the -dV/dt cutoff does not appear to work, and the batteries will over-charge and possibly burst.

I ended up buying something different.

I received my shipment of this product, I ordered TWO. The item works great if you are sent a working one. What ended up going wrong for me was of the power core units that plugs in and powers the recharger is defective so now I have to find a replacement some where online. Though the product does work we'll see if it over charges my batteries, I am suspicious of that.

Over all rating out of 5, I give it a 3.5

I've had this for nearly a year, it works great, just expect a very long recharge time. If you can handle that (like 8hrs for 2600mah AA's) then you won't be disappointed.
