For some reason when I plug my phone in with this cable It doesn't play any of the words only the background sounds, don't know what would cause this but I plug in my frayed old belkin one and it still worked fine. It works in the house just not in the car. Be aware if you are buying for your car as it may have issues. With that said the quality of the cable is outstanding, very heavy duty and durable.

This adapter is heavy duty, which helps it last longer around my house where little kitties sometimes chew on cables, and it works great! I use it to connect my MacBook (Black 13") to my TV. Love it and would purchase again if needed!
