It was packaged in a hardened cardboard tube with the spray lubricant, plastic squeegee, soft plastic-type cover, directions, and a soft cloth. I kept the original plastic cover from shipping so the glass was clean to begin with. I went on to setup a little workspace on my kitchen island and sprayed all sections of the soft cover, pumping once in each section it could cover. This lead to about 3 pumps per row when looking at it upright. The cover is very forgiving and bendable and was very easy to readjust. I almost had it set correctly but noticed I shifted it over to much which covered half of the Home button. I easily shifted the cover, pulled it off, resprayed, and reseated the cover.
